The Art of Pysanky

Pysanky (Pih-sahn-kee), is the art of writing on an egg with wax, and alternating these layers of writing with immersion in dye baths. The result of a practiced hand is quite spectacular.

This year Drawing On Tradition is running workshops on creating your own lovely Pysanka to give to friends this Easter.
